Hey Fort Collins!
Alexandra Cousteau Fundraiser for Gulf of Mexico Cleanup Effort!
On July 10th, Alexandra Cousteau, granddaughter of Jaques Cousteau, will be visiting Fort Collins as a part of her worldwide "Expedition: Blue Planet" tour! Alexandra is an internationally famous explorer, environmentalist, TV host, and keynote speaker. We are extremely honored to host her expedition here in the Fort! Read more about Alexandra here: http://www.alexandracousteau.org
Alexandra has generously offered to give a slideshow and speak at a fundraiser Saturday evening July 10th to benefit environmental groups that are working to clean up the oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico. This will be a fantastic event here in Fort Collins, and a wonderful opportunity for local citizens to help alleviate the suffering in the Gulf.

When: Saturday, July 10th, 7:00pm – 9:00pm
The event will benefit the front lines of environmental restoration, the Gulf Waterkeepers which are sister organizations of Save the Poudre, see http://saveourgulf.org. This event is hosted by Save the Poudre, Save the Colorado, Blue Planet, and New Belgium Brewing.
This event is free and open to the public. Donations will be greatly appreciated!
